Members of conservative and liberal factions everywhere in the United States should be rejoicing that an election audit is moving forward in Arizona's Maricopa County. Why? An audit would go a long way in restoring the confidence of voters not only in Arizona's 15 counties, but throughout the entire United States. A plus for conservatives: If fraud is indeed proven, Republicans would cement what seems to be an inevitable majority in the House come 2022. A plus for liberals: If the audit turns up nothing, Democrats have the added confidence of knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt that Mr. Biden legitimately won the presidency. Democrats would also have a dearth of political ammunition useful in order to demonstrate the baseless fears and accusations of election fraud forwarded by rueful Republican voters. So, have your fill of audits—they're good for us all.
